Twin Fox Farm is a premier Eventing and Dressage training facility located in the heart of Kentucky’s Bluegrass region, just outside of Lexington near Versailles in Woodford County.
Established in 2001 and named after the wild fox family that once made their home in the wooded back acres, Twin Fox Farm offers top-tier amenities for both horse and rider. The property features a newly constructed, irrigated fiber-silica sand arena with exceptional footing, built by David Frey of Field Specialties. The arena is fully equipped with a stadium jump course sourced from “Jumps for Joy.” In addition, a full court dressage arena provides an ideal space for flatwork and precision training.
This summer, the facility is expanding its schooling features to include a water jump, bank complex, and mounds—enhancing its already impressive cross-country offerings. Ten of the farm’s 30 acres are dedicated to cross-country training, with a range of jumps and terrain to challenge and develop eventing horses.
The layout of the farm supports comprehensive conditioning, including six individual turnout paddocks—each with run-in sheds—and a one-mile fenced track around the perimeter for trot sets or gallops. A classic Morton wooden barn serves as the heart of the stable area.
Twin Fox Farm also has plans to host clinics with upper-level riders in the near future. Please check the events section regularly for upcoming opportunities.
The farm is not only home to performance horses but also to a charming miniature horse and two friendly donkeys who provide company and character to this welcoming facility.
